Julian Assange wins right to appeal against extradition to US

Julian Assange won a crucial victory that postponed his extradition to the United States.

Two English High Court judges ruled they would allow a full appeal to be heard because questions remained as to whether Assange, as an Australian citizen, would be permitted to assert First Amendment rights in the US trial.
